US Open: men's singles titles 1968-2023, by country
In 2023, Novak Djokovic won his fourth US Open men's singles title, which was also the fourth US Open title won by a Serbian tennis player. Since the Open Era of tennis began in 1968, the country to have produced the most men's US Open winners was the United States, with 19 champions. The US Open is one of the four biggest annual tennis tournaments, known as The Majors or the Grand Slam tournaments. Along with the Australian Open, the French Open, and Wimbledon, it is one of the most important tennis tournaments in terms of ranking, publicity, and prize money.
