Core capital ratios of selected listed Chinese banks 2020
The capital adequacy ratio of the China Construction Bank (CCB) in 2020 was 17 percent. The capital adequacy ratio describes the bank's Tier 1 and Tier 2 capital to the banks risk assets. Under the regulatory frameworks Basel II and Basel III, banks are required to have a capital adequacy ratio of eight percent and 10.5 percent respectively.
