Age groups that buy food and drink most frequently at cafes in Great Britain 2024
According to a survey in January 2024, there was a clear correlation between age groups and the frequency in which adult Britons bought food and drink at cafes. It was found that younger age groups were more likely to make food and beverage purchases at cafes. Respondents aged 18 to 24 accounted for the highest share of everyday cafe customers and had the lowest share of respondents to never frequent cafes. Meanwhile, the 65 plus age group had the highest share of respondents who never made purchases at cafes in Great Britain.
