Barriers to mood disorder treatments for U.S. adults as of 2021
A survey conducted in 2021 among U.S. adults diagnosed with a mood disorder outlined which were the main barriers for the respondents to try a treatment they were interested in. The query revealed that 52 percent of the respondents were concerned with the cost of the treatment they were interested in, while 39 percent were concerned about the effectiveness of the treatment.
