Brazil: cosmetics retail sales 2018, by channel
Supermarkets were the preferred retail channel for purchasing cosmetics and personal care products amongst Brazilians, according to a 2018 survey. As of September 2018, 72 percent of respondents said they had purchased such products from a supermarket in the previous 12 months. Pharmacies were a channel of choice for 58 percent of respondents.
