In a survey conducted among patients in the Asia Pacific region in 2019, regarding whether certain healthcare services could take place outside of a hospital, 71 percent of patients stated that they would feel comfortable receiving routine and preventative checkups in their primary care facility rather than at a hospital. Comparatively, for the same survey, 42 percent of patients stated that they would feel comfortable receiving cancer care outside of a hospital.
